Loading ...Canary Island folklore has got his own lyrics and instrumental style. You can say even that it has got his own idiosincracia with invaluable wealth. The origins of islands music we can fin it from SXVI with a enourmous influence of Spanish Jota. In the variety of diferent kind of local expresion where is remarkable isa, foils and Malagueñas. Timple, bass, guitar, lute, etc are some of the instruments that are used to make their own compositions. Chacaras ( instruments) and tipical colorful dresses and dance accompain rythm even in local festivities and private parties in all archipielago. Wine and tradicional food ( Ropa Vieja, cheese, mojo, gofio.. ) make the best experience when we mix all toguether. Something is clear, the commitment to preserve their own tradition has been a struggle to find each year more peopleenjoying the best of their folklore. enjoying the best of their folklore.

But also nowadays is increasing the practice of climbing, a sport which is as risky as beautiful. Who exercise it requires a good phisiscal conditions and a great mental concentration that lead climber to minimize the risks.
Canary Islands can be found several places for your enjoyment. In the south of Tenerife are well known places to take the most of climbing like Barranco del Infierno, Barranco Hondo , Barranco Masca or Barranco Hortiz but through out the island’s geography you can enjoy less risky activitie and find learning levels to practice. There are some climbing academies to practice and develop contact skills and advancement. But the value certainly more important to find sense to this sport is when you develop the implicit love of nature and fellowship, which convert this in the essential qualities that all successful climber should have.

Christmas and New Year’s Eve is a good chance to meet family and friends. Canary Islands people celebrate the traditional meal eating goat meat. Nougat and, of course, Champagne is very popular and Christmas baskets are used as presents for employees of the companies. People have nice walks in cities, enjoying the iluminated streets with special christmas decoration.
These days are perfect to go out with friends at night or living the tradicional catholic masses. Other option chosen is going to the beach and taking the most of the nature making a picnic in forest but the one who´s love this festivities most are the childrens expecting presents of Santa Claus when they have had good behaviour during the year.
Well known are the “belenes” , representation wich figures and lovely little scale designs recreate the nativity of Jesus birth. All a good chance to take the most of a special meeting once a year.

The most interesting activities available are the dolphin show, the penguin hall, aquarium, and cinema and of course the rich variety of parrots species through a nice botanic garden walk.
Loro Parque is full of services that make your trip easier if you use the transport available to arraive there. Many of the buildings have an eastern-style influence and restaurants and shops that will make your visit more comfortable.
