Cañadas del Teide

Ascent through the Esperanza region with a short stop for breakfast. Departure in the direction of the Teide National Park, crossing the central mountain range of the island, via the Esperanza mountains until we reach the Mirador de Ortuño (1,200 metres high.) After this, we carry on to another look-out point, the Mirador de la Cumbre (short stop for photos), from where we can see the mountains of the Orotava Valley. Then we travel across the National Park of Las Cañadas del Teide, reaching the Roques de García. Stop for lunch or picnic at one of the park’s restaurants (optional, not included) and then return to Puerto de la Cruz, descending through Aguamansa and the Orotava Valley where we stop to visit the old part of the town, if there is time. Important note: No stop on the cable car.
