Gran Canaria

Transport to Santa Cruz de Tenerife harbour and departure at 08.00 hrs; arrival at Gran Canaria harbour and breakfast at a restaurant near to the Santa Catalina Park. After this we head towards the northern town of Arucas, where we visit the famous St. John basilica. Then we visit Teror, a typical Canarian town where the image of the Virgen of Nuestra Señora del Pino is kept. We reach the Cruz de Tejeda by going through the towns of Firgas, Valleseco. After seeing the Roque Nublo (1,900 mts high), - the island’s emblem, we start to descend down the southern face of the island until reaching San Bartolomé (lunch), Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas where we can see the 7 kms of golden dunes. Finally we return to the capital ready to catch the boat back to Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
