This Hotel-Parador, with typical
island architecture, invites the guest to enjoy its paradisiacal
setting and to contemplate unsurpassable views of the Ocean, with
the island of Tenerife and the Teide in the background. The interior
is filled with marine references and navigational instruments which
recall the ships of Columbus, which left the island for America.
In the living rooms, the furniture combines Castilian and Isabelline
styles, although a very personal, elegant and distinguished Canary
Islands air is not disregarded. The welcoming bedrooms, the swimming
pool and the garden, exuberant and filled with subtropical species,
are some of the attractions which complete the interior. The gastronomic
display is represented by “cazuela de pescados gomeros”
(fish casseroie), “lomos de conejos rellenos” (stuffed
rabbit loin) and “potaje de berros” (watercress broth).
The parador is next to San Sebastian, a charming village with lively
atmosphere, quiet beaches, fishing port, squares, bars and restaurants. |

Environment:The
Parador is set on the so-called Lomo de la Horca, to the right of
the avenue which links the San Sebastián de la Gomera quay
with the town, 60 metres above sea level. How to arrive: From Tenerife
South Airport drive 10 minutes to Los Cristianos port and take the
fast ferry that takes 30 minutes to arrive to San Sebastián
de La Gomera.
Sports: Mountain bikes, swimming,
trekking, diving, underwater fishing, 4x4 routes.
