This beautiful house is located in an incomparable surrounding of lava and vines at the foot of the San Antonio volcano, very near the Teneguía volcano which can be easily reached from the house. The sea and beautiful sunsets can be seen from the veranda and gardens. We can also view the volcano first hand from the nearby beaches of El Faro, where the salt mines, La Zamora beach and the Playa Nueva were visited by the Teneguía volcano in 1971. The house was built about 140 years ago, although it was restored a few decades ago keeping always to traditional style. Its stone walls surround the roof and floors which are made of teak, the same as most of the furniture. Its old fashioned style has a charm which takes the visitor back to the past. |
